A CHRISTCHURCH repairs man has been ordered to pay compensation to customers following an investigation by Dorset Trading Standards officers.
Neil Vare from Lights Close in Christchurch pleaded guilty at Bournemouth Magist-rates Court to seven offences of engaging in unfair commercial practices while dealing with two consumers in Christchurch.
He also pleaded guilty to three offences of failing to provide written notice of cancellation rights to residents in Poole.
He was ordered to pay a total of £750 to two consumers and was given a two-year conditional discharge.
The offences were committed in Christchurch at the beginning of 2009 and Poole in February 2010.
