THERE'S just days to go until millions of us tune in to watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle say 'I do'.

The service will be broadcast from St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle at 12pm.

Here are a few of the events taking place to mark the occasion.

  • Don your finest crown for a street party with a difference in Ringwood on May 19. Starting at 11am in the Market Place, there will be live coverage of the Royal Wedding followed by a live music concert before the FA Cup final is shown.

Seating and tables are available on a first come first served basis and tables and chairs will be removed at 4.30pm. There will also be stalls, a bubbly and gin bar, a beer tent, hog roast and a mini fairground.

  • A retirement home in Highcliffe is hosting a screening of the Royal Wedding on Saturday, May 19.

Owners living at the Church Retirement Living lodge will welcome visitors to join them in the comfort of the Owners’ lounge to watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchange their vows, before raising a toast to the newlyweds with a glass of bubbly.

Resident in the area are invited to join the festivities from 11.30am, ahead of the wedding ceremony, which begins at 12pm.

  • A typically British celebration is taking place in Bournemouth to mark the Royal Wedding.

Tuckton Tea Gardens in Belle Vue Road will be erecting a marquee on its putting green, as well as a giant screen, which will show coverage of the event from 11.30am on May 19.

Guests can enjoy a traditional afternoon cream tea, but the cafe’s usual menu will also be on offer, and the venue will be decorated with bunting. Following the ceremony, visitors will be able to take part in lawn games including croquet.

  • The wedding of the year will be broadcast live on the big screen at the Regent Centre in Christchurch, direct from BBC television.

Doors will open at 10.30am on Saturday, May 19 for the big build-up to the wedding ceremony, which is due to take place at 12noon.

Tickets are free, but advance booking is, "highly recommended", from the Regent box office on 01202 499199 or online regentcentre.co.uk.

Participants are also invited to join in the fun by digging out their old wedding dresses, top hat and tails, or smartest wedding guest gear. There will be a prize for the best dressed lady and gentleman on the day.

  • The Bournemouth Colosseum will be showing the Royal wedding for free on Saturday. The cinema, which is the smallest in the UK, is located in Westbourne Arcade below The Vintage Lounge. Everyone is welcome.
  • A free garden party will be held in Bournemouth’s Westover Gardens to celebrate the Royal Wedding. The party will take place between 10am and 6pm on Sunday, May 20, the day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

There will be live music, afternoon tea, a Queen look-a-like, colouring wall, games, a photo booth and crafts for children. To RSVP visit picnicparkdeli.com
