FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a vehicle fire next to a busy road in Christchurch on Thursday morning.
One crew attended following multiple reports of smoke and flames coming from the A35 Christchurch Bypass at 4.05am.
The fire involved a BMW X5 in Ambury Lane, which runs alongside the Christchurch Bypass.
On arrival, crews found one abandoned car to be “well alight”.
The fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet.
