A CARE home has bid farewell to a popular animal visitor.
One of Caring Canines longest serving dogs, CC Lucy, has now retired at the age of 12 years after visiting Avon Reach Care Home in Mudeford for 10 years without a break.
CC Lucy, who is a west highland terrier, and her owner Brenda Bettany are a much loved part of life at the home.
The canine was not left out of the farewells as she was given a cuddly toy which she has named "Locket".
This team will be very much missed, but Lucy`s successor, a standard poodle CC Florence, will do their best to carry on the good work.
The team at Caring Canines wish Lucy a happy retirement.
