Police have been called to a property in Christchurch after reports of the sudden death of a man.
Police were called at 10.07am today to an address in Fairmile Road.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Response officers attended and very sadly the body of a man aged in his 80s was found."
"His death is not being treated as suspicious. His family have been informed and the coroner notified.
"Investigations are being carried out on behalf of the coroner."
