A MOTORIST was stunned when a topless man jumped on the bonnet of his car in a scene similar to video game Grand Theft Auto.

Shocking dashcam footage shows the thug shouting and throwing things at an elderly man's car as he waited to enter Stony Lane roundabout in Christchurch.

Then, when another motorist Adam Parker beeped his horn, the shirtless man turned on him - leaping onto his bonnet before kicking dents into the wheel arch and passenger's side door of his Ford Fiesta.

The office worker, 30, said he felt like he was in the hit video game Grand Theft Auto, in which players are encouraged to steal cars from other motorists.

Mr Parker of New Milton said: "I pulled up to a roundabout on my way to work and could see a man with no shirt on walking across the roundabout.

"As he approached the car in front of me, he picked up a stick and threw it and then kicked the car.

"The driver was quite elderly and I was worried for him.

"I sounded my horn just to try and get him out of the road.

"It was clear that he was looking to start a fight and after I beeped he turned his attention to me.

"As he came towards my car it really was like something out of the video game Grand Theft Auto.

"He jumped onto my bonnet, which has left a dent there, and kicked the windscreen.

"Then he kicked the wheel arch, which is now damaged, and he's left a hefty dent in the passenger side door as well.

"Because of the traffic on the roundabout, it was difficult for me to get away from him initially.

"I was worried what he would do to other drivers when I left, but I just needed to get away from him so I could report it to the police.

"It was a very surreal situation - I just wanted to get him out of the road and he did this."

After inspecting the damage, Mr Parker will now have to shell out hundreds of pounds to have his car repaired.

He said: "The police are investigating, but they haven't found the man who did it.

"It is going to cost hundreds of pounds for me to repair my car and he should have to cover that cost for me.

"As he came towards my car, you could see in his eyes that he was just gone - he was just looking for a fight.

"He should now have to face the consequences of what he has done."

A spokesman for Dorset Police said they were investigating the incident but have not made any arrests.

He said: "A driver reported a male kicking his car and throwing objects at other motorists at Stony Lane roundabout in Christchurch.

"Our officers have attended and confirmed the damage done to the victim's car.

"We are investigating this incident but no arrests have been made at the moment."
