THE McDonald's in Christchurch is set for a makeover pending planning permission from the council.
A proposal to extend the Somerford Road restaurant and create a new drive thru booth has been submitted to Christchurch Borough Council.
The eatery wants to freshen up the outside of the restaurant with a new folded roof made of timber and khaki cladding with extensions for a bigger dining capacity and fast forward lane.
This will allow customers to collect their order at different booths.
The new drive-thru booth will allow for a second collection point.
The patio area will also be relocated with new barriers.
Comments are welcome on the plans until June 24.
