The Feel Good Festival comes to Boscombe Beach on Saturday from 11am to 11pm. Organised by YMCA Bournemouth and the Dorset Blind Association, there will be a variety of fun-filled free activities for all the family circuits, Zumba, dance fitness, yoga and clubbercise plus Southbourne’s Zig Zag challenge starts at 6pm. At 9.30pm, the 5k and 10k Bright for Sight Night Run races take place. Entry fees start from £5 for children and £12 for adults.

A family fun day takes place at Mudeford Wood Community Centre in Christchurch. The event will run from 11am until 4.30pm on Saturday and includes music and dance performances, stalls and activities. Kaleidoscope Dancers, Christchurch and District Band, Jan’s Gems Belly Dancing and Highcliffe Charity Players will be performing along with cheerleading displays and Zumba. Children will be able to enjoy a bouncy castle, face painting and a range of games and activities. There will also be a display of vintage motorcycles from the BSA Bantam Club.

A summer fair will take place at Ringwood Waldorf School in Folly Farm Lane on Saturday, June 24 between 11am and 4pm. There will be stalls, live music and a barbecue.

The Ramblers East Dorset Group is to host the Purbeck Plod on June 25. Walkers and runners will take on a 25-mile route. A shorter route of 16 miles for walkers only will also be open. Both routes start at the pier in Swanage and continue along the South West Coast Path. Registration opens at 7.30am on the day and the starting time is 8.30am for walkers and 9.30am for runners. Admission is £7. For information, visit eastdorsetramblers.org.uk

Folk on the Quay returns to Poole on Saturday from 10.30am to 9pm with outdoor music stages and dancers in the streets. There will be live music from Marry Waterson, Baraka, Kadia and Alex Beds. 

Druitt Gardens in Christchurch will be hosting a 'BioBlitz' event. The event is called ‘Go Wild in Druitt Gardens’ and has been organised in order to survey the species currently living in Christchurch town centre.
There will be lots of events taking place from 10am on Saturday, which include arts & crafts, tree-side tales and insect expeditions for children of all ages. The event takes place on June 23 at 9pm until late and June 24 at 10am until 3pm.

Winton Carnival this year is having a Grand Prix Pit Stop Challenge at the carnival on June 24. There will be a four-wheeled car already raised off the ground and each team will be tasked to change all four wheels in the shortest time. Only four people per team with trophies for each of the four categories.

A new food and music event comes to Littledown Park on Sunday from 11am-6pm, visitors can expect top local folk, rock and pop acts, street and artisan food from pop-up bars, cafés and restaurants, to stalls selling arts, crafts and local goods. A Star Wars extravaganza is to be held at Canford Heath Library on Saturday from 11am-noon. Young fans of the saga are encouraged to dress up as their favourite Star Wars character, borrow some books and make badges, masks and Darth Vader bookmarks.

St Edwards Church, Corfe Castle, will host a village fayre on June 24.
This event, which is open to all, takes place on the church lawn from 10.30am-4pm.

A dog show comes to Queen’s Park on Sunday. Between 2pm and 5pm, pooches will go head to head for the title of Most Handsome Dog, Best OAP, Waggiest Tail and Best Trick. £2 a class or 7 classes for £10, class fee’s payable on entering the ring.
