A PAIR of unusual woolly guests visited residents at a care home in Christchurch.
Alpacas Sheroka and Teddy-Edward, from Alpaca Adventure, paid a visit to Fairmile Grange, a new care home situated at Christchurch Hospital.
Both the residents and staff fell in love with the alpacas, according to the care home, and “provided fantastic therapeutic cuddles”.
Fairmile Grange, which specialises in nursing and dementia care, welcomes groups, entertainers, shows, and visitors to the home every day for the benefit of its residents.
The variety of events that take place regularly include the memory and reminiscence café, which takes place every second Sunday, as well as the networking breakfast club for local professionals on the first Wednesday of every month.
