Police called to 'armed robbery' at Co-op
POLICE have been called to an incident involving armed robbery this evening.
The incident - at the Co-operative at Fairmile Road - is understood to have occurred at around 5.30pm.
Officers cordoned off the shop, located close to Rutland Road.
It is understood that one offender was involved in the raid.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured or if anything was successfully taken.
