A TEENAGER has been arrested after a member of staff at McDonald's suffered ‘possibly’ life-changing injuries last week.

Officers were called to the branch in Old Christchurch Road shortly after 11.05pm on Friday, October 14 after reports that a male member of staff had been punched in the face as the restaurant closed.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he has received treatment for serious and potentially life-changing injuries.

A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: “Police would like to thank members of the public who have already contacted officers.
