A NUMBER of businesses in Christchurch have lost their water supply due to a burst main.
Residents, including those in Highcliffe and Mudeford, were also affected but have since had their supplies restored.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Water said: "We can confirm that we have a burst, four inch PVC main on the Priory Industrial Estate in Christchurch.
"Our technicians and a crew are on site, the burst has been isolated, and a repair is underway. Following isolation of the burst, normal water pressure and supply were restored to all properties in the area, with the exception of five businesses, who are directly affected and with whom we are liaising.
"We anticipate that these businesses will have their supply restored within the next three hours."
