POLICE are appealing for information after a piece of concrete was thrown at a window by a young boy.

Officers say the criminal damage took place around 5.30pm on Thursday April 21, at an address in Mudeford, Stanpit, with a large piece of concrete thrown at a window, smashing it.

The side lounge window, which had been partially damaged in a separate incident the previous evening, was completely wrecked.

The offender is described as white, aged around 11 years old, with a tanned complexion and short light brown hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top.

A second boy who was with the offender is described as white, slightly older, with a tanned complexion, of bigger build and with dark brown hair. He was wearing a black long-sleeved top and black jeans.

The pair ran off through a park next to the property, into Warren Road and Foxwood Avenue.

PC Alexandra Seymour, of Christchurch police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw two boys acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident or who knows who was responsible to please call me on 101.”

Investigations are ongoing to establish whether both incidents are linked.
