AN ARTIST is donating paintings every day this month to raise money for the Macmillan Unit in Christchurch.
Popular artist Sally Mackness has given 32 paintings, all containing shades of pink, to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The abstract paintings are on sale for £100 each and will be on display at Lovett Estate and Letting Agents. A different painting will be hung on the wall every day, and a large canvas will also be on display and will go to the highest bidder at the end of the month.
Sally said: “Sadly, so many of us know families affected by cancer. The Macmillan Unit in Christchurch and all the wonderful people who work there offer so much support to those who find themselves on that journey.
“It’s a privilege to be able to do something to help raise funds for such an amazing place.”
