HUNDREDS of pounds have been donated to Christchurch Life Saving Club.
The group, who had £6,000 worth of equipment stolen in May, received £500 from Christchurch Round Table.
Members are aged from 7-70 and attend the club to learn lifesaving skills, working alongside organisations including the RNLI.
A spokesperson for the life saving club said: "The recent donation by Christchurch Round Table of £500 is a much welcome boost to club funds and will be used to continue the vital work we do.
"Thanks again to Christchurch Round Table for your kind support."
The club, which is located near Steamer Point, was targeted in May, with padlocks broken on gates and doors to gain access to the premises and storage container.
Five new junior Nipper race boards, worth around £350 each, were among the haul, as well as an 18-month old Tohatsu IRB 25HP outboard motor, valued at around £3,000.
The petty cash box, thought to contain between £30-£50, was also stolen.
