POLICE are appealing for help after 22 gallons of Cobra beer were stolen from an Indian restaurant in Christchurch.
The incident took place on Sunday between 12.10am and 11.30am at the Kashmir Indian restaurant in Stanpit.
Offenders removed two full barrels of Cobra Beer, each containing 11 gallons. They also stole a DVD player, step ladder and car silencer from a shed.
Police Constable Jim Perks, of Christchurch police, said: “The offenders would have needed the use of a vehicle to remove the heavy barrels from the scene.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area to please contact me.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 26:225.
