BACON, chocolate and crisps were stolen in a burglary at a Christchurch food unit last weekend.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the burglary at Christchurch Caterers on Airfield Road.
The incident took place at the industrial unit between 4pm on Friday December 19 and 8.30am on Saturday December 20.
Eight to 10 packets of bacon and an unknown quantity of chocolate, crisps and cans were stolen.
Offenders left the doors of freezers open destroying the food stored inside.
Police Constable Pete Simpson, of Christchurch police, said: “This is the third time in as many months thieves have targeted this premises.
“Some of the food items found at the scene were still frozen so we believe the burglary occurred two or three hours before it was discovered.
“I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen individuals acting suspiciously in the area of Airfield Road in the early hours of Saturday 20 December 2014 to contact me.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 20:112.
