A SCHOOL caretaker arrested amid claims of a historic offence against a child will not face charges, police have confirmed.
The man, who worked at The Priory School in Wick Lane, Christchurch, was arrested a year ago in connection with an investigation about an alleged offence in the late 1980s.
He was released on police bail while inquiries were carried out and was suspended from his post.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said yesterday: “The case has been reviewed by the Crown Prosecution Service and no charges will be brought against anyone arrested in connection with this investigation.”
