A FAMILY is appealing for witnesses after a man fell during a busy festival at Christchurch Quay last Saturday.
Geoff Deedman, 76, was found in the public toilets on the quay at around 5.30pm during the Stompin’ on the Quomps festival.
His daughter, Carol Bastin, said Mr Deedman was rushed to hospital, where doctors have treated him for a bleed on the brain.
Ms Bastin said this has resulted in the left side of her father’s body being paralysed and that doctors need as much information as possible about the fall to ensure the best possible treatment. She added: “The doctors need to know whether the fall caused the bleed or whether he had a stroke which led to him falling.”
She asked anybody who may have witnessed the incident to call her on 07583310476.
