Police are searching for missing teenager Cameron Bhatt from Poole.

Cameron, aged 15, was reported missing at around 12.45am on Wednesday after leaving his address in Mossley Avenue.

Police have been carrying out a range of searches to locate him and are now appealing for assistance from the public.

Cameron is described as white and around five feet 11 inches tall with dark hair.

It is believed he was wearing a grey sweatshirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and Nike Air trainers.

Officers believe Cameron may be in the company of others who either are not aware he is missing or could be deliberately harbouring him.

Detective Inspector Andy Bell, of Dorset Police, said: “Cameron’s welfare is our main priority and we are continuing to make efforts to locate him.

Bournemouth Echo:

"We understand he may not have access to medication he is currently required to take so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I would urge anyone who knows where he is to contact Dorset Police immediately as we need to ensure he is safe and well and is reunited with those who have legal guardianship.

“Anyone who intentionally keeps Cameron from the authorities could be committing an offence, which will be robustly investigated by police.

“It may be that these people think they are doing the right thing by looking after Cameron, but we need to get in touch with him to make sure he is safe and well.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Cameron if he sees this appeal to please make contact with us as we just want to know you are safe.”
