TRIBUTES have been paid to a law student found dead in his room at Bournemouth University accommodation.
Callum Jewell, 20, was found unresponsive at the student accommodation in Gillett Road, Poole on Tuesday February 27.
An inquest into his death held in Bournemouth heard that Callum died of plastic bag suffocation. Police inquiries revealed there are no suspicious circumstances.
A BU spokesman said: “Callum was a popular and active member of the Law student community, who will be sadly missed by his friends and colleagues here at Bournemouth University. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
Assistant Dorset coroner Brendan Allen adjourned the inquest until September 6 to allow for further inquiries.
