ENTERTAINERS from across Bournemouth and Poole have joined forces to raise money for a children's charity.

Seven professionals, who normally are in competition, have organised a fun family concert with all the proceeds from ticket sales going to Amelia's Rainbow.

The Bournemouth Entertainers Show, which takes place from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday (Oct 24) at Poole High School Theatre, will feature magic, comedy, juggling, balloon sculpting, dancing and games.

The acts, Mr Merlin and Okey Dokey the Dragon, Jamie Jigsaw, Krazy Kev, Philip Dixon from Get Up and Groove, Jules the Entertainer, and Jamie Jambo and Richard Welsh from Party Time for Kids have banded together to put together the show to raise funds for the charity.

Amelia's Rainbow was founded by Karl and Chantel Cox in memory of their daughter Amelia who passed away following a battle with a rare form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma.

Richard Welsh, of Party Time for Kids, said: "We have all met up and come up with ideas of how we can put on a really enjoyable event for all the family.

"It's something a bit different for us to be working together, but hopefully everyone will have fun and we can raise a lot of money for Amelia's Rainbow."

Tickets for the show are still available and can be purchased online by visiting thebengroup.co.uk.
