A WOMAN has been charged in connection with an alleged robbery in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received reports that a woman in her 80s was walking along Poole Road at 1.10pm on October 15 near to the junction with Pine Tree Glen when she was pushed from behind.
The pensioner fell to the ground and a person reportedly took her handbag before leaving the scene. The woman sustained injuries to her hand.
Members of the public came to the woman’s aid and the ambulance service was called.
A 32-year-old Bournemouth woman has been charged with robbery. She is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on October 18.
