FORTY-five musical acts are set to perform across seven venues in a live music extravaganza next month.

Bands, artists, singers and songwriters will play everything from pop punk to electro and blues when Oxjam Bournemouth returns on Saturday, October 28.

The seven official venues are; Ojo Rojo, Four Horsemen, Smokin’ Aces, Blueline Studios, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Eden and Chaplin's & The Cellar bar.

The Oxjam Rising stage at Chaplin's will be shining a light on the next generation of talented performers from the area, culminating in a performance from popular outfit the Mother Ukers.

Other acts set to play the event include Mischa & His Merry Men, The Brutal Years, Dead Wrong, The Fox & The Owl, Charlie Hole and Krista Green & The Bees.

A launch event will take place at the Shelley Theatre in Boscombe on Sunday, October 22, with 25 acts performing across three stages.

This will then be followed by the main festival the following weekend.

Music lovers will be treated to more than 12 hours of music and will be able to hop between venues thanks to a wristband which they will collect on the day.

There will also be drinks offers as well as face painting and a vintage/hippie clothes stall at Chaplin's.

Adult tickets are £10 and entry for under 18s is £5. Tickets are available to buy at wegottickets.com/oxjam/event/412217
