THE countdown is on to the Emergency Services Family Fun Day which will take place on Saturday July 22 in Bournemouth's Kings Park.
It provides a platform for all of the ‘blue light’ services to demonstrate their appliances, equipment and skills in a safe and controlled environment.
Refreshments will be on sale, and visitors will be able to meet some of the people who help to keep the local community safe.
See how Dorset Police use their highly trained police dogs, their specialist Marine Unit and their new drone fleet to tackle crime across Dorset. Meet paramedics and find out more about the local Air Ambulance. Learn how the Fire and Rescue Service rescues animals large and small.
If driving to the venue, the road past the Kings Park Café from Ashley Road will be closed from 7:30am with a signed diversion in place.
Drivers are advised to park in Kings Park car park next to AFC Bournemouth, which is only a short walk from the event and accessible via Holdenhurst Road and Kings Park Drive.
