DADS, sons, brothers, uncles and grandfathers have grabbed their running shoes and put their best foot forward for charity.

Nearly 300 people came together at Pier Approach in Bournemouth on Sunday (MAR 19) for the March for Men event aimed at raising money for men's health treatment at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Organised by the Bournemouth Hospital Charity and sponsored by Keith Motors, participants were invited to walk, jog or run over three courses from 1km to 10km.

The money raised will help fun new equipment for the hospital's bladder and prostate cancer patients.

Each year, over 150,000 men are treated at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital for a range of conditions – many of which being urological or cancer patients facing conditions such as prostate, bladder or testicular cancers.
