MAYOR of Bournemouth Eddie Coope will take to the skies next month when he will be wing walking with the Aero Superbatics Team.
He will join the team, a regular sight at the Bournemouth Air Festival, in Cirencester in a bid to raise money for Faithworks Wessex and the Mayor of Bournemouth's charity appeal.
Faithworks Wessex is a Bournemouth charity which works with lonely and isolated people including the homeless, lone parents, elderly, carers, and those in financial crisis.
Its Operations Manager, Emma Heath, and project worker Mikala James will join him in the daring fund raiser.
Cllr Coope left the British Army in 1981 so is not afraid of a challenge. He said: "I am looking forward to taking part in the Wing Walk on April 3.
"Hopefully the weather will be good on this day and it will go ahead. Please support us for this event by sponsoring us."
