STEAKHOUSE Miller & Carter is the latest restaurant to open at Bournemouth’s BH2 leisure complex.
Mayor of Bournemouth, councillor Edward Coope, officially opened the eaterie yesterday, with members of the public being welcomed through the doors from tomorrow.
The restaurant, which created 55 new jobs for the area, has capacity for 190 covers and has opened following extensive work which began in November.
John Crayford, regional business manager at Miller & Carter, which also has a branch in Wallisdown, said: “Following the success of Miller & Carter Poole, we can’t wait to bring a new restaurant to Bournemouth and are looking forward to welcoming guests, both those who have already heard of us, and those who want to discover more.”
He said the BH2 eaterie was one of 25 new sites planned to open throughout 2017, adding to Mitchells & Butlers’ existing portfolio of 57 Miller & Carter restaurants, adding: “Guests will have the chance to experience the first-class service, top quality steaks and sumptuous interior décor that Miller & Carter serves across the UK, and we can’t wait until the doors finally open on February 24.”
