THE death of a woman who fell from a roof on Christmas Eve is not being treated as suspicious.

An inquest was opened and adjourned yesterday into the death of Boonmee Neufeld, 47, of Frances Road, Bournemouth.

She was pronounced dead at 11.50am on December 24.

East Dorset coroner’s officer Andy Lord said a post mortem, carried out on January 6 by Dr Will Chong, recorded that Mrs Neufeld had died of multiple injuries from a fall.

Mr Lord said: “Mrs Neufeld was living at an address in Frances Road with her husband and daughter when she climbed out of a Velux roof window and fell onto a hard standing patio area below, causing head and pelvic injuries.

“An air ambulance was arranged to transfer her to Southampton Hospital but she went into cardiac arrest and passed away in the back of the ambulance outside her home address prior to her being transferred to the helicopter

“Her cause of death is not being treated as suspicious and Her Majesty’s coroner is carrying out investigations.”

The inquest was adjourned until April 6.
