IMAGES have been released of a missing pensioner.

Seventy-year-old Sandra Summers was last seen leaving her home at Walton Road in Bournemouth by taxi at around 10am on Saturday, October 22.

She was reported missing to police on Wednesday, November 2.

Since her disappearance she has been identified once withdrawing cash from the Post Office at the Dolphin Centre in Poole on Tuesday, November 15.

Ms Summers is described as white, around 5ft6, with straight grey hair, and of medium build.

She was last seen wearing a dark-coloured wast-length jacket, a white long-sleeved floral shirt and grey trousers. She was also carrying a handbag.

It is believed that she has links to the Somerford area in Christchurch and to Plymouth in Devon.

Detective Sergeant Ross Brown, of Dorset Police, said: “It has been almost five weeks since Sandra was reported missing and we remain increasingly concerned for her.

"Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Sandra, or has seen a woman matching her description, should contact Dorset Police.

“I would also ask that if Sandra sees this appeal, she gets in touch with us so we know she is safe and well."
