NORWEGIAN exploration travel company Hurtigruten has opened up more flights from Bournemouth directly to Bergen, Tromsø and Oslo.
Hurtigruten voyages depart the UNESCO-listed city of Bergen sailing north to Kirkenes and back.
In addition to Bournemouth Airport, charter flights are available from nine other UK regional airports direct to Bergen or Tromsø.
Magnus Zetterberg, UK and Ireland MD for the company, said: "Witnessing the Northern Lights, voyaging through dramatic fjords and exploring the action-packed Norwegian coastline are some of the most unique experiences in the world, and with our regional and charter flights from Bournemouth Airport it’s now easier than ever before to enjoy them.”
Direct charter flights will depart from Bournemouth Airport from February 2017.
