Don't panic, while we may not have the balmy temperatures of last week, the weather is set to remain dry and warm this week.

Following the record highs last week, this week's weather will be cooler, with more cloud and a higher chance of rain.

Monday will see sunny spells during the morning, with light cloud in the afternoon and temperatures around 20C.

Tuesday will be slightly cooler and cloudier throughout the day with rain and heavy cloud forecast on Wednesday.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday are set to be brighter with highs of 20C.

The pollen count will also be high all week.

Looking ahead, from Friday until Sunday, August 7, the Met Office say the weather will be changeable, with a mixture of cooler and brighter spells and outbreaks of rain.

The south will get the best of the drier and brighter weather, with temperatures around average.
