CHILDREN revelled in the opportunity to meet characters from a popular film in Bournemouth today.
Sid, Scrat and Diego were on hand to greet visitors at Castlepoint to promote Ice Age Collision Course throughout the day.
Young families lined up to see the colourful characters - the funny yet doomed rodent Scrat, often sarcastic sabre tooth tiger Diego and loveable sloth Sid - for a photo opportunity.
Commentator Laura encouraged the children and parents to give the trio a warm welcome when they emerged waving to the crowds.
Nick Staton, centre manager, said: "It's promoting Ice Age and try to get more shoppers to Castlepoint to give them the experience really.
"We have had queues all day and we're going to 4pm. With the weather it's definitely brought people out and people are quite excited about it.
"I think it's lovely for the kids."
