CANVAS on Poole Hill continues its run of summer live bookings when they host American R&B legends Blackstreet tonight.
Mark Middleton, Eric Williams and Jeremy Hannah from Blackstreet will play a medley of their greatest hits, which range from rump-shakers to love songs.
Of course, the crowd will go wild for No Diggity, which was a hit around the world and a chart smasher not once, but twice, in the UK.
The single climbed back into the top 40 in the UK again March 2013, peaking at number 38, 16 years after its original release in 1996.
Their unique brand of funk/soul/R&b has stood the test of time.
As well as collaborating with big names over the past two decades such as ODB, Mya, Janet Jackson, Eve and Ja Rule, they also have gigs in Ibiza this summer.
Their best known hit No Diggity utilised the biggest creatives in hip hop, including Dr Dre, Teddy Riley and video director Hype Williams.
Riley told BBC Radio 1Xtra recently that with Blackstreet: “We got every award you could possibly get.”
Ironically, Riley told Soul Culture magazine that the members were not a fan of No Diggity when they first heard it.
But they soon put their own unique spin on the track.
