A BOURNEMOUTH woman who went missing today has been found "safe and well".
Police were appealing to the public to help find Alison Barns, 48, who left her home address in Irving Road in Southbourne in her car – a grey Suzuki Grand Vitara with the registration GU10 ZGT – just before 4pm, driving toward the High Street.
Chief Inspector Stewart Dipple, of Dorset Police, said Alison was "very upset when she left her home this afternoon".
A spokesperson for Dorset Police confirmed just after 8.30pm that Alison had been found "safe and well in Hampshire".
