Military helicopters, including a Chinook, were spotted circling a ship near the coast of Bournemouth today.
A Ministry of Defence spokesperson confirmed the helicopters were involved in a routine military exercise.

Last September, eyewitnesses spotted helicopters and a Chinook flying around a cruise ship in Poole Bay. It was an exercise carried out by the Royal Marines.
