SECURITY guards have blocked the entrance to Bournemouth's Cotlands Road car park after reports that travellers may be trying to get on to the site.
A van and traffic cones are blocking four caravans, three registered in France and one in the Netherlands, from entering the car park in York Road.
The other entrance has a security guard patrolling. When the caravans first arrived, a police car was seen blocking the York Road gate.
The car park is owned by Bournemouth council, where staff have been informed of the situation.
When approached by the Daily Echo the caravan owners said they were on holiday and were waiting for council officials to speak with them.
They said they would soon be heading on to London.
