POLICE are continuing to investigate after tonnes of landfill were dumped at industrial parks in Bournemouth and Poole.
In late August, huge heaps of foul-smelling rubbish were left at Roundways Industrial Estate in Bournemouth, the Marshes End office complex in Creekmoor and Fleetsbridge Business Centre in Poole.
Although the tax payer is likely to foot the bill for both of the Poole locations, Roundways in West Howe is privately-owned land, meaning that the management company is likely to bear the initial costs of removing the rubbish.
No arrests have yet been made in relation to the three incidents.
Police were initially notified of an eight-foot high mound of waste dumped illegally at Marshes End on Wednesday, August 26.
The following night, an 18-tonne mountain of rubbish was left at Fleestbridge, discovered by workers on the morning of Friday, August 28.
And the day after that, a 14-tonne heap of landfill was left at Roundways.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
