POLICE were called after drivers spotted two calves at the side of the road near the Ashley Heath roundabout.
The animals are believed to have escaped from a field and drivers have reported fears they will be injured on the busy dual carriageway.
Police were alerted by a number of calls at 8.30am today (Tues) and said they also received a similar report yesterday morning.
Officers are at the scene.
