Motorcyclist suffers head injury in Southbourne crash
A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered a head injury after being involved in a collision with a car in Southbourne this afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to Parkwood Road at around 2.30pm.
A spokesman from the South Western Ambulance Service said the male motorcyclist sustained head and leg injuries.
He is currently being treated by paramedics at the scene.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said officers are in attendance.
The road remains open.
The force spokesman said the collision involved a silver motorcycle, registered to a woman from Bournemouth, and a silver Toyota Avensis, also registered to a woman from Bournemouth.
