Delays on Spur Road due to swan on carriageway
THERE are delays on the Spur Road this morning due to a swan on the carriageway.
Police were called to the southbound carriageway, just after Blackwater junction, just after 7.10am.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the swan was 'wandering in and around the road.'
Part of the carriageway was cordoned off by police.
Traffic also came to a standstill.
The RSPCA were called but then cancelled as officers caught the swan.
Traffic remains slow but moving.
