EMERGENCY services were called to a collision outside Springbourne Fire Station on Saturday morning.
Fire crews from Springbourne were called around 5.30am and helped one male casualty who had been "run over", a spokesperson for Dorset Fire Service said.
"Crews provided first aid and stabilsed casualty with collar and handed over to the Ambulance service", they added.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were also called at 5.31am to reports of a man 'who had been run over by a car.'
The man was taken to hospital they confirmed.
The spokesperson was unable to say how serious the injuries to the casualty were or what hospital he had been taken to.
