A collision involving two cars has caused traffic delays at the Canford Bottom Roundabout this morning.
Police say the vehicles have since been recovered and the road re-opened at 11.29am following the accident where the B3073 Wimborne Road West meets the A31.
The A31 was partially blocked at B3073 Wimborne Road West, with queuing traffic and congestion at the Uddens Drive junction.
Police were called to the scene at 9.11am and fire and ambulance services were in attendance.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Fire services are assisting one person by cutting them out of their car. However, this is because of their injuries, not because they are trapped.
"The collision has involved a black Ford Focus and a gold Honda CRV. Three police cars are on the scene and traffic is likely to be slow," they added.
The spokesperson said only minor injuries have been reported.
