HUNDREDS of children were in fine voice when they got together to rehearse for special carol concerts to be held in Bournemouth later this month.
The Bournemouth Schools’ Music Association concerts bring together secondary and primary pupils from across the borough for a special festive celebration at the Pavilion.
It is a tradition that goes back more than 60 years and always attracts sell-out audiences.
Pupils from primary and secondary schools are involved in the event, which also includes dance, drama, handbells and a Christmas Carol songwriting competition.
There will also be a performance from the Anniversary Choir, made up of different generations of singers.
The pupils performing this year met at St Mark’s Primary School in Talbot Village to get some practice in before the big nights on November 25 and 26.
They will practice in the mornings when Daily Echo photographers will be on hand to get pictures for special commemorative posters which will be on sale on the night.
