PLACES on a refresher driving course are still available for older residents in Bournemouth.
The new course offers drivers aged 70 and older a chance to take part in a discussion session about driving issues for £5.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn about best practice for dual carriageway and motorway driving, new driving techniques, changes to the Highway Code and negotiating roundabouts and junctions safely.
After the course participants will have the option to attend a further free practical 90 minute one-to-one driving session.
The driver theory refresher sessions are available on Thursday at the Strouden Community Centre and December 16 at LV Streetwise Centre.
