TINY ballerinas dazzled an audience of hundreds with their dancing skills in Bournemouth at the weekend.
More than 100 tots from across the area took to the stage at St Peter’s School, Holdenhurst Road, on Sunday to act out a magical adventure for their captivated relatives.
It was the third successive year the Baby Ballet classes have joined professional dancers to put on the performances – and organiser Claire Westwood hailed it yet another success.
“It is just absolutely magical,” said the dance teacher. “The children and the parents love it.”
With 400 tickets sold, such was the demand for the performances that two separate shows were put on.
The children, all aged younger than six, put on show-style routines, wore cowboy hats and even cut some pirate-themed dance moves before finishing with a grand finale – boogying ballet-style to ‘If You’re Happy And You Know It’.
