POLICE are appealing for information after a van was damaged in Moordown.

Vandals smashed a window and damaged the driver’s side lock of a white panel van, which was parked on the corner of Wimborne Road and Elmes Road.

The damage was caused between 9pm and 10pm on Monday, October 27.

Officers say two men were spotted running away from the scene up Elmes Road. One man was wearing a grey hoodie. The other man was described as wearing a black t-shirt and had a shaven or bald head.

PC Lisa Harrison, of Kinson South Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This damage has caused the owner great inconvenience and expense.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have information about this incident or who may have seen two men matching this description in the area at the time to call Dorset Police in confidence.”

Anyone with information asked to call Dorset Police on 101.
