A CRASH in Bournemouth caused severe damage to an electricity substation on Saturday evening.
The two-car collision took place on Queens Park Avenue around 5.05pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police described the incident as a minor collision with no reported injuries.
Engineers from Southern Scottish Electric were called to deal with the damaged substation.
The road was closed by officers around 5.30pm to allow work to be carried out.
Engineers were on the scene repairing the damage until 3am, the force spokesperson added.
