A heat pack left in the microwave caused a fire at a Bournemouth flat on Thursday evening.
Crews were called to reports of a smoke logged flat in Durley Chine Road around 7.50pm.
On arrival they found the fire had been extinguished and they ventilated the property and administered first aid to a lady suffering slight smoke inhalation.
The fire destroyed the heat pack and caused minor fire damage to the microwave plus smoke damage to the kitchen.
