AN inquest has been opened into the death of schoolgirl Ashli Blake, who was found dead near a New Forest monument.
Ashli’s body was discovered on private land close to the Eyre Coote Monument, near Rock-bourne, by a member of the public in the early hours of Sunday, September 21.
Winchester Coroner’s Court heard that the 15-year-old Burgate School pupil from Fordingbridge had suffered multiple injuries.
HM Coroner Grahame Short adjourned the inquest until December 2.
Detectives are not treating her death as suspicious.
